This 16-key NSX-39 keyboard comes with a stylus for playing and a 3.5mm/0.125" output. There's a vibrato option, octave control, as well as volume and vowel control for 5 different sounds: A - E - I - O - U. Using Gakken's midi web-app you can input your own Hiragana and then control Hatusune Miku's tonality and delivery.
"あーだふるーと" she said to me. "AH - DA - FRU - TO"
Please Note: AAA Batteries and Micro-USB cable not included! (But we carry them in the adafruit shop so if you don't already have one, grab em!)
Like many of our Gakken kits, the instructions are all in Japanese but the Pocket Miku is pre-assembled!
Gakken is a Japanese publishing company founded in 1946. In the 1970s, they began selling educational toys, books, magazines, and electronic kits. Their kits are known for their smart design and relative ease of use and have a large cult following both in Japan and the United States.

When running Gakken's Vocaloid interface web software: In Google Chrome to get the web-app running, go to the URL "chrome://flags/#enable-web-midi" and then enable web-midi. Scroll down to the bottom and click "Relaunch Now" (don't worry your tabs will reopen). Now it should work!
