Description
Discontinued - you can grab this Kitronik Inventor's Kit for the BBC micro:bit - micro:bit Not Included instead!
The Kitronik Breadboard Breakout for the BBC micro:bit lets you plug a BBC microbit into a standard 2.54mm pitch breadboard. Two 11-pin headers are used to make connections into the breadboard. Works with micro:bit v1, v2, CLUE, HiFive Inventor and other boards with the same edge connector.
The micro:bit slots into the familiar edge connector on the top side of the PCB. No extra tools are required for installation. The front of the BBC micro:bit (the side with the LEDs ;) should be inserted facing the same side as the 3V pin.
The PCB is designed to plug across the middle slot of a breadboard, the same placement as an IC component. It's a very slim and compact arrangement.
Features:
- micro:bit's pins are broken out to 2x11 header pins
- Use jumper wires to connect from the header pins to the rest of your circuitry
- No special tools or soldering required
- Breadboard prototyping made easy
